Terms of Use — Quote Service
These terms apply to your use of the quote form on this website.
About the quote
The quote you receive is an estimate of our fees based on the information you provide. The final cost may vary if:
- The information you provided changes during the transaction
- Additional searches, surveys, or legal work are required that were not foreseeable at the quote stage
- Statutory fees (such as Land Registry fees or Stamp Duty Land Tax) change between the quote being issued and the transaction completing
The quote does not form a binding contract. A formal client engagement letter will be issued when you instruct us to act on your transaction.
Instructing us
If you proceed with your quote, you agree to our firm's full terms of business, which will be provided to you as part of our client onboarding process.
Your information
You agree that the information you provide in the quote form is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Providing false or misleading information may result in an inaccurate quote, and we may revise the quote (or decline to act) if the position turns out to be materially different.
Limitation of liability
The quote is provided in good faith based on the information you supply. We accept no liability for inaccuracies arising from incorrect or incomplete information given at the quote stage. Your formal contract for conveyancing work begins when we issue our engagement letter and you accept it — until then, the quote is for indicative purposes only.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your quote is the one in force at the time you submitted the form.
These terms were last updated on 2 July 2026.
